Club info
Organized in August of 1983. Over the past twenty five years, GSSAA
has raised more than $70,000 to support the building of o artificial
reefs along the Grand Strand. Conservation of the marine environment
and its fisheries is stressed throughout the clubs history and it’s
fishing tournaments. During 2005 GSSAA contributed $5,000 to the SC
DNR for 100 concrete structures at the Paradise Reef (AKA the three
mile reef). And again in 2008 donated $2,500 to increase the three
mile reef. Our club also offers a $1,000 dollar scholarship to CCU.
Our annual Murrells Inlet spring flounder tournament has been a big
success for the past eight years.

Plus a ladies division and a Youth division.
