nope, was 68 prior to this storm front that moved in, now 66

Ya know, it must be nice living in Neverneverland. Remind me to come visit you, when I need a break from reality.

Dang, Was hoping to get this year started. I love to see the wild life in our fishery once their spring starts.

The reds have moved inshore, be wasting your time from the pier. Currently blues, whiting, black drum, spanish mackerel, and trout being caught at pier.

I am not the best red fisherman, but generally creek mouth where bait funnels is where I have had luck past few weeks. Also for those wondering, folly hit the desired 68-69 Murica units today.

Lower 70's (in the rivers) should mean the beginning of the peak spring trout fishing! When it gets to 80 the little sharks will be everywhere and the trout will go nocturnal.

Anything shiny and fast moving. The gotcha is pretty standard and cheap. You can run a fluoro leader to generate more bites but take chance of bite offs. Aim for anytime water is decent clarity and moving tide. Bait is a bonus as a good indicator spanish will be in there area.

Nice thing about how our water here in Charleston, the Spanish will be here until water goes back below 68, generally Oct-Nov. I catch my largest during June-July each year. 5-6lb+
