Was in Sams today and saw they had the Igloo built like the yeti for $178.00. I bought one a few years ago for $200 and don't regret it.

I have the same one. Got it at Sam's a couple years ago for $200. Nice to hear that they lowered the price. It's been a great cooler. I don't know how it compares the the more expensive brands but does great for my needs. I never need for ice to last more than one day but it will easily. It also makes a great casting platform on the front of my boat.

They also have a smaller one now that was $100 last time I saw it.

I have one also. I put 15# of dry ice in the bottom to transport shrimp to my daughter out of state. I had stops to make and it would be 5 days getting there. I then put a layer of cardboard and a case of beer on top. The beer was at or below freezing for the whole trip and the shrimp were still rock solid after 5 days.

RTIC coolers. Yeti sued and won over patent infringements. RTIC has been told to sell everything by a certain time. New price drop on all rotomolded coolers. Honestly I think they are built better than Yeti.
RTIC 65. Now $133! Can't beat that price for that quality.

I doubt Yeti would have sued RTIC if that was the case...

They are sold out but continue to update the website as new stock of the new coolers comes online. Just keep your eye on it.

RTIC is releasing their new line in May. They'll probably have a little catching up to do on demand. I have a hard 45 and soft 30 and they are great. I even use the soft 30 as carry-on luggage when I need a cooler where I'm going. RTIC's deal is that they cut out the middle man (retailers) and all of the crazy marketing expense to deliver the same quality of product cheaper and direct to the consumer. However, they have recently sponsored a race car so didn't cut all of the marketing!
