Pretty dang windy out there yesterday but my buddy and I braved the tough conditions. Put the boat in around 1:00 at the Hwy 41 landing. Caught all the trout on topwater and the flounder on a jig.
If you didn’t know DNR is asking that you release trout right now, because of trout kills the past few winters the breeding stock needs to increase… But nice flounder…

Seriously, I forgot about DNR’s request and now I feel guilty as sh*t. I’m going again this afternoon and will release any trout that I catch. Thanks for reminding me.
