It all depends on the water, but we already have 4 guys this weekend for a overnighter on the grouper grounds, trolling, chunking for some tuna and wahoo, and trolling during the day for the flipper mahi amd some wahoo that are about. will also dive over the side and shoot some fish if the opportunity arises.
Would like about two more definites for the trip. boat is a 38 foot egg harbor express with twin cat diesels with radar and all the safety gear. the plan is to kill fish…bottom line.
If i didn’t have a wedding on friday i would be all about it. I love overnight trips, shooting fish with the speargun, pulling grouper up, gaffing dolphin, rigging baits, and cleaning bloody boats…good luck to u guys and PM me next time u wanna do a trip like this, cause im always down for killing.
Just curious, how is experience level determined? I’ve been offshore around 20 times. I can rig a hoo and tie a bimmini, gaff a big one in the head, reel in lines out of the angler’s way. With that I know other folks here have world more experience and knowledge than that.

I think what he’s after is a couple of guys that have been overnight and haven’t gotten sick and wanted to go back to the dock in the middle of the night.

Correct Jeff, no guys getting half way thru trip and begging to go back home as i have seen happen before on overnighters due to seasickness. We are ready to kill some fish and plan on loading the box.
time is running short guys, we need a few more spots filled. We will be on a large sportfisher with twin diesels and good numbers. This is a producing boat and these trips fill the box when we do them. not a charter, just some good fishing fun and splitting fuel bait ice as usual.
I don’t get sea sick and even if a thousand to one I did, I wouldn’t be asking to go back. I’m overwhelmed with work right now but, if you ever do need other folks again I would be humbled if you had me along. Glad to split costs too.
