It’s cyclical Fritzie. The SEC had ACC envy in the 80’s and 90’s up until the Saban era. I mean Saban alone has as many NCs in this cycle as the entire rest of the SEC. I think its safe to say the college football world has Nick Saban envy, not really SEC envy.
Esp. this year. This SEC bandwagon crap is really looking pathetic. I mean, I know pathetic looks really good on you, but you should really try a little harder.

I remember the last time I toured the Switzer center in Norman, Ok… Tons of individual trophies and Heismans. Long lists of consensus All- Americans. Bowl trophies. Dozens of conference titles and 7 National championship trophies. One thing I never saw was a trophy labeled “best conference”. I guess those kinds of mythical trophies are reserved for programs who have lots of empty trophy shelves. Meaningless to schools who play for titles on a regular basis, I guess. No one has ever won a crystal ball for an affiliation with a conference. Loser argument at best. Cheer for YOUR school. I have yet to figure out why fans from schools like Alabama waste time on the “SEC,SEC”, mantra when they win NC’s themselves. Even saw their players holding up an “SEC” sign after winning a recent NC. Not a Bama sign, but an “SEC” sign. Why? You just won the NC, idiots. Vanderbilt and Kentucky had nothing to do with it. Stupid coattails mentality even infects the top team in the conference. Perplexing.
