**** MSC 2020 November TX & DNR Open TX Results ****

After COVID delays and tough fishing, Team Motley Crew brings in the win in the MSC November Tournament and the 2020 DNR Open Tournament.

Midlands Striper Club held its monthly Lake Murray tournament in combination with the 2020 DNR Open Tournament out of Lake Murray Resort, SC on November 21, 2020. Twenty-seven teams participated in the MSC March Tournament and Forty-two teams participated in the 2020 DNR Open Tournament. 65 striped bass were brought to the scales weighing a total of 404.45 pounds with a 6.22-pound average. Thirty-one teams were able to bring a full two fish creel to the scales.

The MSC March Tournament results are as follows:

Finishing in first place with a total weight of 16.63 pounds was team Motley Crew captained by John Kennedy from Saluda, SC, along with Brian White, also from Saluda, SC, and Van Cook from Chapin, SC.

The Justin Christopher Big Fish Award sponsored by The Nichols Store also went to team Motley Crew with a 9.15-pound striper.

Finishing in second place also with a total weight of 15.24 pounds was team Well Hung captained by Brett McDowell, along with Jason Tarlton and Jacob Black, all from Saluda, SC.

Finishing in third place with a total weight of 14.75 pounds was team Been Lure’d In captained by John Temple from Gilbert, SC, along with Ty Taylor from Lexington, SC. Team Been Lure’d In also won the Synergy Therapy Life Release Award winner and released a 7.48-pound striper and a 7.27-pound striper.
