Jetties, Cute-l-ass-fish - Youngen Style

After oldest youngen had walking pneumonia last week, the wifus went under the knife, youngest youngen caught a stomach bug this week, finally oldest youngen caught the same bug Friday night…time to find my peace of mind before I loose my cool, the request was put in by my oldest youngen could we please go fishing. It will make me feel better. I may not be a doctor by anybody’s standards but dad power runs through my veins and I can whip up an antidote with a rod and reel. We headed to the reef and cut it short at the jetties to prevent any chumming from taking place. We got into several 3 1/2’ ladyfish which spun my youngen all around the boat and this had me hollering is this fun or what!!! Then we got into these “Cutlassfish” which most were also well over 3’. Probably could have taken a better pic but couldn’t see due to reflection from the sky on my phone. Over 45 fish caught from this youngen so she is already on the road to recovery. Fun trip once again - Youngen Style

That’s some good therapy if there ever was any! I’ve seen/caught more ribbon fish this year than I ever have before, ever. Hope it’s a good thing.

…well, some fishing too!

Those Ribbons are great King bait trolling if you have a half dozen treble stingers. I’m not crazy about a flailing King and those “stingers” flying around. LOL Great medicine dad, hope all are feeling better.

Wow! Everything comes in threes! Or more. So great to see kids ( especially girls) that want to fish because it brings them joy - and probably dad memories. I love taking my adult girls fishing. And they love going. I think. Now I’m kinda’ scratchin’ my head thinking, “or, are they just needing a break from their younguns?

Awesome job, dad! I hope everyone recovers quickly and is back to healthy times. Keep puttin’ the kids on the fish!
