Yep, that is a nice catch. IMO probably the closest freshwater fish to a Walleye filleted, lightly battered and fried up.

Yeah, minnows over my crappie beds. Would have caught more but my i-pilot lost all recorded spot locks and I had to hunt for them. It got so hot we had to quit.

Crappie is hands down, the best eating freshwater fish there is. I have heard people rave about how good walleye is. I have only tried it once and didn’t care for it, however I give it another shot when the opportunity presents itself.
