Rain and Shrimping

Do you guys think the rain will affect the Shrimping this weekend?? I know to much rain does at times. What are y’all thoughts??[file ]error[/file]

I don’t know but if I had the time to go I would try it anyway.

I would say it depends on where you will be going. Creeks may see more impact than harbor and bay.

Yeah you might be right about that…

I was thinking about going out to Bulls Bay this weekend. I know it’s been raining like crazy up here in the upstate.

I’ve only bait shrimped in Wadmalaw Sound and N.Edisto area, been going here since baiting began and the rain we’ve had in this area in the last 3 weeks will definitely run the bigger shrimp out ,in my experience.

You can't catch fish on a dry line

Come on Gone, you ain’t never had a BAD day on the water. Get on out there so the rest of us can be envious.

"Apathy is the Glove into Which Evil Slips It's Hand", but really, who cares?

We were there last week after we had a good bit of rain up here leading up to our trip. I was worried about that too, but coolered twice in Bull’s Bay. Good luck!
