First Born's First Sail

Headed out to 100’ this morning and after picking at the peanut dolphin for a couple of hours finally hooked up on the boats first Sailfih. Fish bill smacked the teaser three time and tasted two other baits before we hooked him on the third. AWESOME SHOW!!

Anyway, a great day for the 19 footer. Good ocean and it’s first Sail. Thanks to Scott and Justin from Haddrel’s Point for some great cockpit work on such a small boat. We’ll do it again soon.

I guess i know who rigged baits…sounds like a great day.
congrats

Thanks Troy. We were pretty excited. We’ve caught countless sails over the years, but never one on the little boat. For us it was a great achievement.

Good Job. Knew I would miss the first bill. Thanks again for the tackle Monday.

Nice job… got my first last week, but it wasn’t on my boat, unfortunately. Feels great, doesn’t it?
