Anyone know how I can find out if these motors would be affected by the corrosion defect that the Yamaha’s (mostly 225’s) were running into during this time period?

I’m about to have a boat surveyed but if I can find out the motors are prime candidates for the corrosion then I may be able to save the $$. Any help would be much appreciated!

Pretty sure some in that year/model were affected

The hull Truth.com. Search “Yamaha exhaust chamber corrosion.” 2008 they lined the dry exhaust side with a ceramic coating.
