So as the trials and tribulations continue as a bonified lure tester, we put these Xmas calendar lures to the test again, this time we weren’t sight fushing, but more beat the banks in search of fish after the rains. Played in the Stono, Harbor, and Ashley today. My pattern once again had nothing but short strikes between the reds and trout…meanwhile the new baits are solid go to baits from here on out. Sorry for 1 pic, I forgot I had my phone with us…wifus left us alone all day so I didn’t get pinged every 15 minutes telling us to hurry up so I could disconnect from life and focus on my Youngen!!!
I will say that the rain made finding fish today a challenge but they should be back in their normal haunts by next week.
